Labin Region

In the east of Istria there are numerous green hills that offer a beautiful view of the Kvarner- which is a muse to many artists who create in this region.

These places are inhabited by people who are artistic souls, diligent and hard-working. People who appreciate the beauty of nature and peace that can be found in this part of Istria. One of the most notable cities is certainly the medieval town of Labin. A city that has a unique old town centre with art studios, a city with a view of the Kvarner and city Rabac just below the hill. Rabac is written in history as a fishing village, but in recent history, it certainly ranks as one of the top tourist destinations. Because of its beautiful indented beaches and high-quality tourist services and offer, it has been named the  "Pearl of the Adriatic". Five kilometers of Labin is situated one of the youngest town in Istria, Rasa. Sources state that it was built in 547 days "out of coal", and was developed for the needs of miners and mining during the Italian government.
