Reconstruction  of  stone house in Peroj, Istria

In the intimate center of Peroj was an old stone barn, challenging property that is turned into a holiday home with a swimming pool. Our architectural team following the wishes of the client's vision, created all necessary modifications to a project of this conversion. During renovations, the biggest challenge for Maris ltd construction, which oversaw all the work, was the isolation of the old stone walls that had no basis, in order to preserve the autochthony of old Istrian construction. Inside, we have a fully restored original stone and wood and equip both floors of the house. In landscape arrangement we were careful to preserve the authenticity and unite the stone house, swimming pool and barbecue by the olive trees in a peaceful oasis for a break from everyday life.

Property was purchased 2004. and the renewal and reconstruction completed in 2005.
